Global strategy recommendations to prevent
and control non-communicable diseases (NCDs). ICD has assisted
WHO
with developing policy guidelines for national programmes,
and technical guidelines for reducing behavioural risk factors.
Training courses on the prevention of
non-communicable diseases. ICD is working with WHO to develop
educational material for health professionals and to pilot
training courses in several countries.
The ICD
training material is available from the Secretary General
in draft but only to institutions interested in working
with us to develop the material further and/or interested
in pilot testing the material.
