The Industry Council for Development (ICD) is a private non-profit corporation in official relations with the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the UN and the World Health Organisation (WHO). ICD has observer status with the Codex Alimentarius Commission. Member companies of ICD are from the food and allied industries. ICD is a small group of motivated professionals that works with governments, non-governmental organisations and UN agencies on practical action-oriented projects in the developing world.
